CLUB NOTES

Our 8th Preliminary Final against HBL for our 5th win was exciting against a very good opponent, but as we know, everything is irrelevant now as this week's game is the one that counts.

Award winners last week were: Chris Basile(Spencer Motors Mazda/Josephines), Tyson Lee (Good Guys), Leigh Conway  (Ultimate Paint & Panel), Sheldon Turner (Bunbury City Motorcycles) & James Kerr (Crystal Surf & Skate) & the Coach's award went to Tom Harper (Watpac Civil & Mining)

Congratulations to Ryan Mckenzie on his Hayward medal win and so becoming the 9th player from our Club to win that illustrious award. It was just reward for all the hard work that this player puts in, as he has done in everyone of his 76 games for the Tigers.

Don't for get Saturday the 15th of October is our Wind-up and Trophy Presentation night commencing at 6-00pm and at $35/head is good value. Please book your ticket early so that the catering can be organised.

Thanks go to all concerned at the club for the season, particularly the coaching and playing staff, who have one more duty to perform today. There is an awful lot of hours that go into running a club and all concerned are to congratulated.

Today is where we have been aiming all season, the chance to play off for a Grand Final. It will be our 25th Grand Final appearance in the 55 years of the SWFL for a 14/10 win loss record so far and in the Club's 115 years our 72nd Grand Final appearance. However, the past counts for nothing, it is the future where we are headed and if all concerned apply the Club motto of "Cede Nullis" we may be able to celebrate tonight.
