Helping Mum hang out the jumpers after she washed them, also as team mascot in the 1950s (no team photo unfortunately in South Saga).
Additional Comments (Eg. Fondest memory, favourite character around the club, most despised opposition, etc):
My proudest memory would be of both my parents, Bill and Bette Constantine, having Life Membership conferred and the naming of the "Constantine Bar" at the Club sessions with all the old favourite characters - Bluey Stafford, Jock Whitelaw, Bones Cunningham, old Sav, Bill Conno and Duppa.
Other family members who have/had some association with South Bunbury Football Club:
I played some footy with my brothers Peter (Jock) and Neil (Baldy). Apparently I didn't see the best of them, having played my last game in the 1967 1st Semi. |
