Bar Manager – 7 years. Director – 3 years. Player 1966 – 1974 with 145 games of League footy.

Post South Bunbury Life:

Played in Geraldton in 1975 for Rovers Premiership team. 2 years 1976 -1977 Karratha Cats – no Premierships. Played and coached in Gove, NT 1978 – 1984 –winning 2 Premierships.

Started Back – Pocket, Finished at Centre Half Back

Best South Player and Coach you’ve seen:

Player – Allan Prosser and David Hollins
Best Coach – Merv Kennedy – he was mad but he got the job done.

Most memorable incident/experience at the club:

Playing in 2 Premiership teams 1968 & 1971. The mad Mondays after both victories. Ray Anderson’s buck show – see Wayne Mould’s memorable incident. Seeing both my parents receive Life Membership. To play League footy with my two older brothers, Gary and Peter.

Earliest memory/association with the club:

Training with “Uncle George” Hay at Hands Oval, late fifties, early sixties. Helping my father at the construction of the Southway Ball Room.

Additional Comments (Eg. Fondest memory, favourite character around the club, most despised opposition, etc)
: Favourite character in the sixties – Tommy Trigwell, always the life of the after game parties. Respected most players and clubs but got the most satisfaction defeating Carey Park.
