Played for SBFC for 15 years. Board member for 14 years (current).

Post South Bunbury Life:
Finished playing seconds grand final 1973, lived overseas on three occasions, second marriage have two sons Nathan, 28 and Callum, 8.

Rover, Half-Back Flank

Player - Syd Jackson and Coach – Gerry McNeill
Best Junior coach – Ray “Creamy” Buswell

Most memorable incident/experience at the club:
A certain motorcycle incident that took place in the early 60’s in which I performed courier duties for a bunch of unnamed individuals!

Earliest memory/association with the club:
Was introduced to SBFC aged 13 by the late Brian Cunningham, had to play under 18s.

Additional Comments (Eg. Fondest memory, favourite character around the club, most despised opposition, etc:
Being part of SBFC’s success both on and off the field. Colin Francis Buswell is certainly one of the clubs best known characters. Most despised opposition is Carey Park Football Club.

Other family members who have/had some association with South Bunbury Football Club:
Ian and Craig Cahill (brothers). Ian holds current record of played games and is a life member. Craig is the current President and is in his sixth term in this position and is also a life member.
