Most memorable incident/experience at the club:
Reserves Grand Final playing Carey Park. Peter Sisson wanted to give me a good smack in the mouth but as he went to hit me Kevin Nettleton stepped in between us and he smacked him instead. He got 2 years..

Earliest memory/association with the club:
Walking to Hands Oval to watch South play and enjoying the good punch-ups (Ah for the old days!).

Syd Simeon being smacked with an umbrella. Watching “Banga”, Trevor Francis scaring the shit out of the opposition. Seeing Syd Armstrong always with a smile collecting the jumpers after every match. The great games between Carey Park and South.
