Additional Thoughts:
Well, as a young bloke who was born and bred South Bunbury, it is hard to look back and reflect on over 20 plus years of SBFC life and not smile and laugh. From the glory days of the 80's to the downfall times of the 90's, to the rebuilding Premiership of 2002 where the Club Motto (Cede Nullis - Yield to no-one) was reborn, to present where I believe the Club stands financially strong as others struggle. So there is so much that the Club has given me, enjoyment, friendships and achievement for myself without even playing a game of footy (yet) makes me so proud to be a Tiger. To be a Club Official and win Premierships as Team Manager and Director and receive the Crabb medal (Best Clubman 1990 & youngest to win it) and Life Membership 2003 (Youngest again equal to Jim Thomson - Legend) to me in footy terms was like winning Sandover, Brownlow Medals - such an honour. But to the Club in general as we pass 108 years of proud history and tradition we now need the new generation to stand tall both on and off the field and become passionate about the Clubs future and support the old faces around the Club and not just leave it all to them. To the Teams in the Finals in 2005 best of luck (kick some ass) and continue it on for the future.
Kind regards - Darryn Wilson (A Proud Tiger) 2005
